Malaysia Govt Under Covid Pressure

Malaysian Prime Minister Muhiyuddin Yassin’s government appears in imminent danger of collapse after allies withdrew support in the wake of massive demonstrations over the weekend. The protests were directed at the government’s Covid containment policy which is seen to have failed. More than 8000 have died and 1.1 million are infected.
