Afghan Intelligence Personnel ‘Working For IS-K’

U.S.-trained Afghan intelligence personnel linked to the previous government are now reported to be working for the Islamic State Khorasan (IS-K). Many, according to the Afghan Khaama press quoting the Wall Street Journal, are members of the resistance front of Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh. The spate of targeted assassinations in eastern Afghanistan may be linked to these people joining hands with the IS-K.
