Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been denied a visa extension by the British government. He’s been living in London since 2019 after the Lahore High court allowed him to go abroad on medical grounds. He’s been convicted in two corruption cases in Pakistan and if he returns, will end up in jail. Sharif has appealed against the denial of visa extension.
