Macron of France got slapped in the face during a walkabout in the Drome region in the south east. Television cameras following the president saw him walking up to a crowd behind a metal barrier. He then reached out to shake the hand of a man in a green T-shirt when he began screaming “down with Macronia” and slapped the president. Security officers pulled Macon away while the man was arrested.
