India and Pakistan have agreed to clear the long pending
issue of assignment visas for their diplomats and other staff. This will be completed by June 16. The agreement will enable 30 Indian embassy staff and several diplomats to get their Pakistani visas and move to take up their assignments. A similar number of Pakistani embassy staff and diplomats should get their Indian visas.
