‘Russian Troops Won’t Enter Kiev But Surround And Isolate It’

NEW DELHI: Undeterred by the slew of sanctions imposed by the West, Russia says it will press on with its military operation in Ukraine till the end. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has dismissed the threat of a nuclear war but says Moscow won’t allow Ukraine to keep any infrastructure that threatens his country. So how exactly did Russia plan for the operation and what lies ahead? Lt Gen Shokin Chauhan (Retd), who has exercised with Russian troops when he was commander of 1 Corps, says the plan was to launch a three-pronged attack.
