Omicron Dominant Covid Variant In The UK

The Omicron variant of the Coronavirus will be the dominant strain in the UK in 48 hours, Health Secretary Sajid Javid has warned, adding that no other Covid variant has spread this fast. Currently over 44 per cent of cases in London are of the Omicron variant. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has spoken of a tidal wave that would infect even those with two Covid vaccine shots.
