China Warns U.S. Over Diplomatic Boycott Of Winter Olympics

China has said the United States would ‘pay the price’ for its diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics, scheduled to be held in Beiing in February next year, over human rights concerns. No U.S. government official will attend the games though there will be no such curbs on the country’s athletes. China has punished U.S. sports associations like the basketball association in the past for crossing its red lines.
