A ‘Breath Of Fresh Air’ From Taiwan

Days after Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen said her country stands with India at this difficult time, the first batch of 150 oxygen concentrators and 500 oxygen cylinders have arrived in New Delhi. More critical medical supplies will follow. Taiwan says it’s committed to helping the people of India in time of need.

Deployment of medical supplies is testament to the close collaboration and partnership across multiple agencies on both sides, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India said. While the contribution is modest, we hope it will bring comfort and relief to the patients in need and ease the burden on the healthcare workers who are working tirelessly to fight the pandemic, the Center added.
