India’s ‘Quad’: Institutionalising The Colombo Security Conclave, Mauritius Joins Maldives, Lanka

Mr Moorthy discusses the 5th NSA-level Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) meeting hosted by the Maldives with Sri Lanka, India, Mauritius, Bangladesh and the Seychelles, India’s NSA Ajit Doval saying “We have the opportunity to move forward in institutionalising cooperation with a concrete road map and a defined charter of objectives”, Maldives Defence Minister Mariya Didi being “delighted that Mauritius joins as a full member” and “looking forward to partners(Bangladesh and the Seychelles are observers) joining as (full) members soon”, India-Maldives relations, India-Maldives military Cooperation, the Indian Ocean region, China in the Maldives and China in the Indian Ocean.
