Over the past decade, India has undergone a transformative shift in its national security strategy, moving from a period of uncertainty to one of assertiveness and modernisation.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has strengthened defence capabilities, reformed intelligence and cybersecurity, taken a hardline approach against Pakistan and China, and bolstered diplomatic ties, particularly in West Asia and the Indo-Pacific.

The abrogation of Article 370, the containment of left-wing extremism, and a renewed focus on defense indigenisation have further reinforced India’s position as a formidable power.
