Trump May Not Peacefully Concede Election, warns Biden

Former U.S. President Donald Trump

U.S. President Joe Biden warned on Friday that Republican candidate Donald Trump and his running mate may refuse to accept the outcome.

Biden said that he is confident that the upcoming presidential election will be conducted in a fair manner.

Biden Confident Of Free And Fair Presidential Election

“I’m confident it will be free and fair. I don’t know whether it will be peaceful,” Biden said.

“The things that Trump has said, and the things he said last time when he didn’t like the outcome of the election, were very dangerous.”

Biden said that Trump’s running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance, would not confirm during this week’s vice presidential debate that he would accept the outcome of the November 5 election.

While visiting a Hurricane Helene response center in Evans, Georgia, on Friday, Donald Trump said he had not heard what Biden had said.

He said he believed the federal response to the storm had been “rotten” and “terrible.”

They alleged that he pressured state officials and then-Vice President Mike Pence to try to overturn his 2020 election defeat.

Their 165-page filing is likely the last opportunity for prosecutors to detail their case against Trump before the presidential election.

Asked by moderators during the vice presidential debate on Tuesday, “Would you again seek to challenge this year’s election results, even if every governor certifies the results?”

Vance responded by saying that he was “focused on the future.”

Vance then said, “Look, what Trump has said is that there were problems in 2020.”

Women Trust Harris Over Trump

An American University poll has shown that a majority of women trust Harris over the former U.S. President to address inflation and reduce living costs.

Another 46 percent prefer Harris over Trump to handle the economy, while 38 percent prefer Trump on it.

Nearly two-thirds of the women surveyed said inflation and the economy were the most important issue for them as they decided on their vote.
