IAF Jets On 3 Missions, Each With 7 Hours Of Non-stop Flying

NEW DELHI: If the Indian Navy operated two carrier battle groups earlier this month in the Arabian Sea in a display of maritime capabilities, the Indian Air Force too undertook three missions recently in the Indian Ocean Region, to India’s east, west and south. Each of the three missions, which included fighter jets and mid-air refuellers among others, had a flying time of seven hours, thereby pushing the limits of human endurance. In this episode of ‘Simply Nitin’, StratNews Global Editor-in-Chief Nitin A. Gokhale has more about these missions that projected India’s reach and air power.
