‘Lost Greenland Ice Sheets Enough To Submerge U.S.’

Researchers in Denmark say Greenland has lost enough ice sheets in the last 20 years to submerge the U.S. in half a metre of water. They said the climate is warming faster in the Arctic than anywhere else and the melting of Greenland ice is the main factor in the rise in level of the Earth’s oceans.
