Biden Warns Putin On Ukraine; Russia Demands Legally Binding Guarantees Ruling Out NATO Expansion

Russia says it sees Ukraine’s growing alliance with Western nations as a threat to Russian security — and that any move by Ukraine to join NATO or to host NATO missiles would be unacceptable. U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has also said the Nord Stream 2 pipeline’s future is at “risk” if Russia does invade Ukraine.
