NEW DELHI: India and the U.S. have signed the last foundational agreement BECA (Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement), which allows for expanded geospatial information sharing between the two armed forces. Four other agreements were also reached at the third 2+2 ministerial meet between U.S. Secretary of Defence Mark Esper, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and their Indian counterparts Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Dr S. Jaishankar in New Delhi.
