Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest airports and the hub of Emirates airline, announced on Friday that it has resumed normal operations after a global system outage affected the check-in process for some airlines.

“Dubai Airports can confirm that operations are back to normal following a global system outage that affected some airlines,” the statement said.

Flydubai: Operating from Terminal 2, Flydubai reported no impact on its operations due to the outage.

Emirates: Emirates, operating from Terminal 3, stated that its flight operations were not affected. However, the airline warned of potential delays later in the day due to the knock-on effect from delayed departures at other airports.

Etihad Airways: Based in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, Etihad Airways reported normal operations but cautioned about possible limited delays across its network due to the global outage.
