A Model for International Relations
In a statement released upon his arrival, Premier Li highlighted the resilience and strength of China-Russia relations over the past 75 years. He noted that the relationship between the two countries has withstood the test of time and changing international dynamics, growing stronger with each passing year. “Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and Russia set a model for a new type of international relations and relations between neighbouring major countries,” Li said.
He emphasised that China-Russia relations in the new era are marked by stronger mutual political trust, successful cooperation in various fields, a deeply rooted friendship, and close international coordination. Premier Li’s visit aims to further implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen the enduring friendship between the two nations, and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
