‘Climate Inaction To Cost The World Substantially More Than Pandemic’

NEW DELHI: With climate change manifesting itself in the form of extreme and erratic weather globally—heavy rain, intense heat waves, rising sea levels, wildfires, etc—the UN climate panel says failure to take act on the warning signs may have catastrophic effects. Now, we have got to make each day the day of climate, says Freddy Svane, Denmark’s ambassador to India. The crisis calls for international cooperation; the Indo-Danish green partnership is the right approach, he told StratNews Global Editor-in-Chief Nitin A.
