You can be Sancho Panza.’ I take it that this is her way of signalling that we can proceed full throttle and assuring me that she is taking full responsibility,” writes Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin, in a behind-the-scenes account of India taking on the UK, a permanent member of the UN Security Council in the 2017 election for a seat at the International Court of Justice.

In this interview on ‘Books Corner’, Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN(2016-2020) and currently Dean, Kautilya School of Public Policy speaks to StratNews Global Associate Editor Amitabh P. Revi on his first book, ‘India vs UK: The Story of an Unprecedented Diplomatic Win’ on how “it’s important to fight to the finish.”
