NEW DELHI: Myanmar has been reeling from the civil war ever since the Junta toppled Aung San Suu Kyi’s government two years ago. Since then many factions of the country have been protesting to restore a pro-democratic government. This agitation has claimed thousands of lives and has become a pressing issue for neighbouring countries like – India, Bangladesh, and other ASEAN countries. India recently hosted a ‘1.5 Track Dialogue’, to discuss the Myanmar issue with other ASEAN countries.
