NEW DELHI: For a country like India that has a rich culture and traditions, soft power is an important component of diplomacy. And one institution that plays a key role therein is the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), working in tandem with other agencies of the government. India enjoys tremendous goodwill across countries; that needs to be taken to another level, says Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President, ICCR.
