NEW DELHI: Monday (December 6) will be a busy day for bilateral engagements between India and Russia. President Vladimir Putin will fly into New Delhi for the 21st India-Russia annual summit and hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His visit last year couldn’t take place due to the pandemic. The last time the two leaders met in person was on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Brazil in November 2019. Putin will spend about six to seven hours in New Delhi and fly black late evening. Earlier in the day, the first 2+2 summit involving the defence and foreign ministers of both countries will take place. The foreign ministers will have a separate meeting as well.
