The panel discusses U.S. President Joe Biden’s visits to Israel, Palestine and Saudi Arabia, the first I2U2(Israel, India, UAE, USA)hybrid summit also known as the West Asia Quad, announcements of a series of integrated food parks to be developed across India with $2 billion in UAE funding that will incorporate state-of-the-art climate-smart technologies to reduce food waste and spoilage and conserve water and a 300 megawatt hybrid renewable energy project in Gujarat with a battery energy storage system, President Biden’s engagement with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman(MbS), in an attempt to thaw diplomatic relations with Riyadh, stabilise global energy markets and strengthen regional security, critics accusing Biden of a U-turn on his campaign position of making Saudi Arabia a “pariah” for MbS’ alleged role in the murder and dismemberment of the body of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC+3 meeting), Iran, China and Russia in the region, India’s West Asia policy, the Haifa port and the Adani group deal, connectivity and the Raisi, Putin, Erdogan Summit in Iran scheduled on July 19.
